Walking day tour of the Holy Jerusalem

 

We start off at the Mount of Olives with the beautiful view of the Old City of Jerusalem, the

El-Aqsa dome of the rock and Temple Mount.

 

Descent of the Mount of Olives. Visit Dominus Flevit and Gethsemane churches.

 

Entrance of the old city through the Lions Gate. Walk along the Via Dolorosa

(Way of the cross) and the Stations.

Visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Optional lunch break with option for a delicious hummus and falafel meal.

 

Visit Temple Mount (Depending on availiability. Every day except Saturday & Sunday)

Visit the Jewish Quarter and Western Wall.

Visit Mount Zion - Room of the Last Supper (Tabernacle) and David's Tomb.

 

 

Expect a taxi ride to the Mount of Olives from the hotel or city center. (about NIS 70) The meeting point can be your hotel.

 

 

Other notes: No knives or religious objects should be brought to the Temple

Mount. Women need to cover their sleeves, legs and shoulders and men need

to cover their legs (shawls are very useful in summer).
